desc Detailed Description

Arum Capital is a CySEC-regulated broker, located in Cyprus and which is therefore subject to all the rules regarding margin and CFD trading as mandated by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) in 2018.

I. Background and Company Overview of Arum Capital

Arum Capital is a non-dealing desk broker that provides A-book order settlement to all its clients, directing their trade orders to the interbank FX market without intervention. This allows the broker to offer zero spreads, albeit with commissions on trades. More than 100 instruments cut across several asset classes are available.

But why are traders so interested in the offering of Arum Capital?

  • There is no dealing desk intervention, which cuts trade costs from spreads.
  • Arum Capital offers a large number of exotic FX pairs for those who want to trade outside of the regular pairs.
  • Professional traders can get enhanced leverage of 1:100, within the definition of a pro trader as clarified by ESMA.

II. Trading Platforms and Tools

What trading platforms are offered on Arum Capital? The MetaTrader5 platform is the only platform on offer.

The MT5 has all the features and functions of the MT4, but will also support more time frames, more order types and partial order filling. The MT5 is available as a webtrader, desktop client and mobile applications for iOS and Android devices.

For those who want an enhanced trading experience, here are some tools provided for traders on Arum Capital.

  • The MQL5 signals service is a plugin from the MQL Community website and allows traders to pay for signals and indicators from their MT5 account using the CodeBase tab.
  • Market-moving news is available on the MT5's News terminal tab.
  • There is a Trading Calculator that helps the trader work out the margin required and the expected profit for a trade based on the account type, lot size, leverage and entry/exit prices.

The ECN Classic account also offers floating spreads, but these start at 0.7 pips. Also coming with a $500 minimum deposit requirement, only trades on specific assets are charged via commissions. The commissions on this account type are charged on the USD/CNH pair ($4.5 per standard lot), platinum and palladium ($1 per transaction), and crypto assets (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Bitcoin Cash and Ripple all charged at 0.3% or minimum of $4.5 per transaction).
